Ask "Quel temps fait-il?" (What's the weather like?). Answer with "Il fait + adjective":

✅ Il fait beau (it's nice) · Il fait mauvais (it's bad)

✅ Il fait chaud (it's hot) · Il fait froid (it's cold)

💡 "Il fait" significa literalmente "ele faz", mas aqui é "está (o tempo)". É uma fórmula fixa!

For things you can "have" in the sky, use "Il y a + noun" (there is):

✅ Il y a du soleil (it's sunny) · Il y a du vent (it's windy)

✅ Il y a des nuages (it's cloudy) · Il y a un orage (there's a storm)

✅ The verbs: Il pleut (it's raining — from pleuvoir) · Il neige (it's snowing — from neiger)

💡 "Il pleut" e "il neige" são verbos completos — NÃO use "il fait" com eles!

The four seasons take a preposition. Watch out — spring is the odd one!

✅ au printemps (in spring) ← uses "au"!

✅ en été (in summer) · en automne (in autumn) · en hiver (in winter)

💡 Regra: "AU printemps" mas "EN" para as outras três estações. Decore a exceção!
