Porter is a regular -ER verb. It means "to wear" (and also "to carry") / Porter é um verbo regular em -ER. Significa "vestir/usar":

✅ je porte, tu portes, il/elle porte

✅ nous portons, vous portez, ils/elles portent

✅ Aujourd'hui, je porte une robe rouge. — Today I'm wearing a red dress. / Hoje uso um vestido vermelho.

💡 The endings -e, -es, -e, -ent are silent — porte, portes, portent all sound the same! / As terminações são mudas.

To say "this/that/these", the word changes with gender and number / Para dizer "este/esta/estes", a palavra muda com gênero e número:

✅ ce pull (masculine) — this sweater / este suéter

✅ cette robe (feminine) — this dress / este vestido

✅ cet imperméable (masculine before a vowel/h) — this raincoat / esta capa de chuva

✅ ces chaussures (plural) — these shoes / estes sapatos

💡 Use "cet" only for masculine words starting with a vowel or silent h: cet homme, cet anorak. / Use "cet" só antes de vogal.

Colours (and most adjectives) agree with the noun in gender and number / As cores concordam com o substantivo em gênero e número:

✅ un pull bleu (masc.) → une robe bleue (fem. = add -e)

✅ des chaussures noires (fem. plural = add -es)

✅ un manteau vert → une jupe verte → des pulls verts

💡 Feminine = +e, plural = +s. Some colours never change: orange, marron stay the same! / Feminino = +e, plural = +s. "orange" e "marron" não mudam.
